Getting started
After installing, you land on the dashboard. Pick a template from the gallery (or start a blank automation), open it in the editor, run a dry run, read the report, then deploy. No external signup is required.
AI generation
Describe what you want in plain language and Collaudo generates a clean Python or TypeScript function using the Collaudo SDK. You can read, edit, or rewrite it. AI generations draw on your plan's monthly allowance or AI credit packs.
Dry runs and the mutation report
Every automation must pass a dry run before it can go live. In a dry run, reads execute for real against your catalog, but every write is intercepted and recorded — nothing changes in your store. The mutation report shows exactly what would have happened (for example, "would run tagsAdd on 1,243 products, here's a sample") plus anything your function skipped and why. The dry-run barrier is enforced server-side.
Scheduling, triggers, and the safety guard
Automations can run on a cron schedule in your store's timezone, on store events (such as a product or order update), or on demand. The destructive-action guard blocks risky operations unless you explicitly allow them. If an automation starts failing or running long, Collaudo auto-pauses it and tells you why.
Billing
Plans and AI credit packs are billed through Shopify. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time from the in-app Plans page — no need to reinstall or contact us. Charges appear in your Shopify admin billing history.
Uninstalling and deleting your data
Uninstall Collaudo from your Shopify admin at any time. We then erase all data we hold for your store within 30 days. To request data access or deletion sooner, email privacy@wmie.it.
How your data is handled
- Collaudo accesses products and inventory by default, and orders, customers, draft orders, or fulfillments only if an automation you build needs them — and only with your approval.
- Run records may briefly contain incidental customer data from triggering events; they auto-expire after up to 90 days and are erased when you uninstall.
- All store data is stored and processed in the EU (AWS, Frankfurt), encrypted in transit and at rest. AI generation uses your description and code only — never your store, order, or customer records — and is never used to train AI models.
- The mandatory dry-run safeguard means no automation can change your store until you've reviewed what it would do.
